These Community Guidelines are here to ensure that everyone enjoys a positive experience on Gush. By using our platform, you agree to abide by these rules. Failure to comply may result in consequences, from warnings to account bans.
1. Respect Personal Boundaries
Everyone has different comfort levels. Public profiles must not include explicit content or requests for sexual encounters. In private conversations, consent is key for any sensitive topics. Always respect the other person’s boundaries.
2. Share Information Responsibly
Keep your personal information private. Don’t share sensitive details like phone numbers, emails, financial information, or social media handles publicly. Avoid asking for such details from others. Never send money to someone you’ve met on Gush.
3. No Violent or Harmful Content
Gush is a space for positivity. Violent imagery, threats, or any content glorifying self-harm are strictly prohibited. If someone seems at risk, we may take necessary action, including providing crisis resources.
4. Keep It Personal, Not Professional
Gush is for personal connections, not business opportunities. Don’t advertise, promote products, or solicit followers. Activities like fundraising, campaigning, or compensated relationships (e.g., sugar dating) are not allowed.
5. Be Authentic
Represent your true self. Fake accounts or impersonating others are not permitted. Genuine connections happen when you’re honest about who you are.
6. Communicate Respectfully
Treat others with respect, even during disagreements. Harassment, threats, bullying, or any form of harmful behavior—including hate speech based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, or any other characteristic—will not be tolerated.
7. Foster Safety and Kindness
Any behavior that causes harm—physical, emotional, or digital—will be taken seriously. If you feel unsafe or harmed, report the incident to us immediately. We’re here to help.
8. Adults Only
You must be 18 or older to use Gush. Photos or content involving minors, even if it’s from your childhood, are not allowed.
9. Follow the Law
Illegal activities of any kind, including but not limited to drug transactions, counterfeit goods, or human trafficking, are forbidden.
10. One Account Per User
Each user should have their own account. Sharing accounts or creating multiple accounts for one person is not permitted.
11. Post Only Your Own Content
Respect copyrights and privacy. Don’t share others’ private messages, images, or copyrighted materials without explicit consent.
12. Be Honest and Transparent
Misleading information, spamming, or attempting to manipulate users for personal gain is prohibited. Avoid using third-party apps to exploit or "game" the platform.
13. Stay Active
Accounts that remain inactive for two years may be deleted. Stay engaged by logging in periodically to maintain access.
We encourage you to report any behavior that violates these guidelines or makes you feel uncomfortable. Reports are confidential and help us maintain a safe and respectful community.
Violations of these guidelines will be addressed promptly. Depending on the severity of the offense, we may issue warnings, suspend, or terminate accounts. Serious breaches, including unlawful actions, will be dealt with appropriately, including actions that occur off the platform but involve Gush users.
